Geometric
Geometric Designs that are rectilinear, stepped, or angular. Geometric designs are often dictated by coarsely knotted rugs that make it difficult to represent smoothly curving lines in a design and by the naive pictorial tastes of the weavers. The designs of village and tribal rugs are sometimes geometric interpretations of finely woven, curvilinear, urban designs.[1]
