The museum collections includes masterpieces of Islamic art, including metalwork, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, carpets, textiles and glass, collected from three continents and dating from the 7th to the 19th century.

History

Museum of Islamic Art, offshore museum in Doha, Qatar, located on the southern end of Doha Bay. It is noted for its vast collection of Islamic art spanning 1,300 years.
