Iran National Carpet Center is an institution at the Ministry of Commerce established to govern all policies, planning, and affairs related to the production and trade of handmade carpets across the country. In 2003, according to the decision of the Supreme Administrative Council, all affairs related to the policymaking, planning, supervision, support and development of the handmade carpet industry from research and production to trade and exportation were centralized under the authority of the National Iranian Carpet Center.
